1. Everything But The Baby (the agent) gives the seller a written receipt, noting the description and asking price of the goods.
2. The agent’s commission is 40% unless otherwise agreed. The agent is not VAT registered and VAT will not be added to the selling price.
3. The agent displays the goods in the showroom at 19 Knaresborough Road for a total of six weeks: four weeks at full price and then two weeks at half price.
4. Larger items will be subject to a four week deadline, being reduced by upto 30% in the final (fourth) week
5. The seller is free to remove their goods at any time, at no charge on production of their receipt.
6. The seller is invited to call or telephone to check on the progress of their goods, and to collect any money due to them. The seller MUST produce their original receipt when collecting goods or money. The agent will NOT pay money out without the receipt.
7. The seller should inform the agent of any change of address or telephone number.
8. The seller must remove any unsold goods within the agreed deadline of either four or six weeks. Any unsold items will be donated to charities on the expiry date indicated at the bottom of the invoice.
9. The agent reserves the right to accept offers of 10% less than the agreed price on the spot. Goods will not be reduced further without consultation with the seller.
10. It is the responsibility of the seller to ensure that all items brought for sale are thoroughly clean and in as-new condition. A charge will be levied for cleaning soiled goods.
11. The seller accepts these terms unreservedly when leaving goods for sale.
